Ghazal

Dear friend, why can’t we just get along well

We can have a true relationship well

I can still remember our first meeting

Something that can’t be forgotten that well

It sure was an awkward meeting at first

But it sure got better, which was done well

Ok, sure I didn’t like you at first

but as we shared the same room it got well

We would talk and talk until 1o’ clock

And sooner or later, snore to sleep well

Your ipod was the best for an alarm

That thing would always wake us up so well

We talked about relationships a lot

At least the communication went well

You might have been a silent teenager

But you were also energetic as well

I don’t hate you but you aren’t my best friend

But I wouldn’t mind seeing you as well

I have no regrets about the times we

Spent for three whole weeks, which went pretty well.

Sonnet Poem

Sonnet

Who is my best friend?

There are many friends I have

Yet I don’t know which one I am closest with

People sometimes ask me who is my best friend

While other people have an answer I don’t

When I don’t some people stare at me weirdly

And when people stare at me weirdly, I feel bad

Did I do something wrong?

Is it necessary to have a best friend?

Mostly all of my friends are good to me

So it’s hard to choose a best friend

I like it this way though

The fact doesn’t change that I enjoy having my friends

That’s all there is to it.

Elegy Poem

Elegy to Grandfather

The first grandparent that I ever lost

He was the oldest but the most friendly

He is moving to his next life, no cost

However, death is unfriendly to us

He passed on and went to a better place

We should be proud that he doesn’t have to bear

The pain from his sickness any longer

But we are in sorrow, dripping out tears

Death might be good and peaceful for the dead

But it’s painful for us living to watch

However, it is inevitable

So let’s wait until we see them again.

Ode Poem

Ode to Technology

There are things hard to do with our hands

Therefore we have technology

To help us with all this work on sea and land.

Like little servants of us from mythology.

The world became a digital world

Filled with machines

We can do things we humans can’t do alone

Do things faster and preciser.

Oh, what would we do without technology

I certainly don’t know,

Iphones, laptops, TV, all gone

We cannot survive with out technology
